What do you do when your high school band budget has been slashed by over 40 percent? You hold a March-A-Thon and raise the extra money needed to keep your band intact. Since North Forney High School and Forney High School bands have been affected by budget cuts, they are both planning March-A-Thon events in August. They need the community's help to raise some funds!

A March-A-Thon essentially means that the high school bands will be marching and playing music along set routes in Forney neighborhoods. They will have buckets along the parade route to collect monetary donations.
